ARE YOU MARKETING YOUR CLUB EFFECTIVELY?

Jack reckons not many are!

So what are you doing to promote your club?

Do you have a Website?
Do you have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other form of Social Media?

Believe it or not there are a lot of clubs that have none of the above.

Jack wants to know how you promote or market your club without any of these platforms?

If you're a club member and think your executive committee is way behind the 8 ball, then have yourself nominated for office at stand for a position at the next A.G.M.

Jack believes that clubs should be run like a business, not a social committee.

What do you think?

  1. Dare to do something different. Just got an email re winter interclub.
Cancelled due to lack of interest. That says it all about the future of bowls.
I know my club had more than the 12 required so am disappointed this is not going ahead. We have a world class facility at Naenae and sadly not going to get used.

    1. I'm not sure how running winter interclub is "different", hardly. Some imagination is needed.
I don't agree with the comment saying "That says it all about the future of bowls". That's a defeatist's attitude to me. There is plenty that can be done for bowls but re-hashing the same old events is tiresome.
Bit early to be saying the Naenae facility won't be used ..... more defeatism. If you actually take a look at their website you will see a number of upcoming events.
Perhaps you should give them a call and explain how it should be done Peter?

  2. Peter S, you're dreaming. Have you even been down to Naenae, perhaps before making such ridiculous comments you should go down to Naenae and take a look. It is your kind of attitude that holds back your club, negativity!
